The Opportunity: The Property Administrator will provide support to the management team for all aspects of the day-to-day activities for assigned residential buildings in the National (Canada) portfolio.

What you will do:

Review weekly internal receivables report with managers and site staff
Process monthly rent increases
Ensure timely posting of monthly rent roll
Process daily tenant & deposit adjustments (rent, parking, locker, incentives)
LMR applications (Ontario) and if applicable, cancelling PAP
Review and process tenant Deposit Accounting upon move out information provided by the site
Generate AR action arrears letters for sites to review and distribute to tenants
Maintenance of rent roll, tenant ledgers, AR, LMR and Chargeback accounts
Review delinquency reports prepared by the site on a weekly basis
Oversee the administration functions in Yardi
Interest distribution applications to tenant ledgers
Coordination of documentation between sites and regional head office
Assist with providing documentation of files for legal action
Liaise with site staff and accounting to ensure appropriate information is received, recorded and provided as requested
Handle site inquiries
Process all invoices and related reports and systems within Accounting as assigned
Complete all administrative functions as specified by the Manager, Property Administration, Residential
Read and understand leases to ensure accurate information is received and maintained
Responsible to review and ensure that resident leases are set up accurately in Yardi by the site
Work closely with the accounting department to ensure that year ends are properly invoiced, and accounting related questions are properly answered
Identify and recommend process improvements in the Residential Property Administration
Administer bad debt collections
Assist in year-end audit
Embrace and pro-actively support BGO's culture of environmental sustainability, and corporate and social responsibility

Who you are:

Education: Minimum 6 months of post-secondary education in related field
Bilingual - French and English
Experience: 5+ years of residential experience with a strong financial acumen; ability to analyze and interpret Company policies and procedures as well as relevant Acts and Legislation
Relationship Skills: Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships, ability to exercise confidentiality and excellent customer service skills
Organizational/Multi-Task Skills: Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities and adapt to new ideas and constant changes; a highly organized individual who has an eye for detail and accuracy
Computer Skills : advanced skills in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Yardi One accounting system
Police Clearance: A criminal verification check is required for employment.
