0 - General Pool: Sustainability Internship

              Sustainability Intern - General Pool   Position:  Candidate for Sustainability Internship Organization:  Various Canadian Environmental Nonprofit Organizations Location:  Canada. The position may be remote or in-person, to be determined by the hiring organization.  Time Commitment:  30 hours/week for a minimum of 13-26 weeks. Compensation: $20/hr Start Date:  July-September 2024 SUMMARY OF ORGANIZATION & CANDIDATE SELECTION PROCESS: Eco-Internships is a non-profit organization designed to help other grassroots environmental, non-profit organizations (ENPOs) with human resources and staffing needs. We support ENPOs across Canada by connecting employers to funding opportunities to hire youth interns through wage subsidy grants and other funding. To ensure a successful placement, participants are matched with designated Intern Mentors and participate in a non-profit training course to learn fundamental skills when working in a non-profit.    Resumes submitted through this application pool will be initially reviewed by our team at Eco-Internships and will be distributed to various organizations participating in this program, who will then have an opportunity to schedule an interview with candidates.
