The incumbent responds to applicant and student inquiries through various channels, including: in-person, via phone and email. The incumbent maintains an up-to-date directory of Frequently Asked Questions and adheres to the Admissions critical path schedule and policies, creates documents and spreadsheets, conducts research, retrieves student information and assists with admission and pathways related inquiries. A comprehensive knowledge of St. Lawrence College programs and services is critical to act as a lead resource. The incumbent demonstrates broad knowledge to triage requests not related to admissions or pathways to the appropriate service at the college.The incumbent may be required to travel, work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during open houses and other college wide events such as convocation. This position will act as a key resource in support of the College’s Strategic Enrolment Management plan and has a potentially significant impact on College enrolment and retention.QualificationsEducation and Experience:A minimum of a 2-year college diploma in Office/Business Administration, or Marketing and Communications.A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative position.Other Required Qualifications: Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applicationsKnowledge of web-based client information systems and functionsStrong literacy skills with the ability to understand and utilize Academic PoliciesExcellent written and verbal communication skills Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location or work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.Salary & Terms Support Group: Pay Band EStart Rate: $27.81/hourHours per week: 35Posted Date: May 1, 2024Closing Date: May 13, 2024(4:00 p.m.)Position End Date: May 30, 2025 Documents
