Responsibilities : Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Manage the waitlist and reservations, ensuring accurate seating arrangements. Escort guests to their assigned tables, providing menus and any necessary assistance. Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant's offerings, specials, and promotions.

Reservation Management: Record and manage reservations using the restaurant's reservation system. Confirm reservations and communicate any special requests or preferences to the appropriate staff members. Maintain an organized and updated reservation book or system. Monitor and manage table turnover, optimizing seating capacity and minimizing wait times.

Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure a seamless transition between guests and tables. Notify servers of any special requests, allergies, or other relevant guest information. Assist in coordinating large parties or special events, providing necessary support and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Guest Assistance and Problem Resolution: Handle guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Address any issues that may arise during the seating process, such as delays or table availability. Provide solutions to guest inquiries or concerns, seeking assistance from management when necessary. Actively monitor the dining area to ensure a clean and organized environment, promptly addressing any issues.

Miscellaneous Duties: Assist with general restaurant duties, such as answering phone calls, taking to-go orders, and providing assistance to other staff members when needed. Help maintain an orderly and presentable entrance area. Uphold restaurant policies and procedures, including hygiene and safety standards. Stay updated on menu changes, daily specials, and other relevant information.

Requirements :

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Professional and polished appearance.
  • Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $14.50-$15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
