Job Details Description At Doctors of BC our vision is to promote a social, economic, and political climate in which members can provide the citizens of BC with the highest standard of health care, while achieving maximum professional satisfaction and fair economic reward.Together, we make a difference so our doctors can make theirs. Join us today!THE JOB: Contracts Coordinator, JCC Finance (13 Month Contract)The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.Starting Salary Range: $55,490 -$ 69,363Reporting to the Manager, JCC Finance, the Contracts Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and monitoring all contracts, including more than 1000 funding and consulting agreements across EQI, and for processing all associated invoices/payments. The Contracts Coordinator advises leaders within EQI’s Centers of Expertise (COEs) on contracting strategy and the most effective contractual instrument and collaborates with them to define deliverables and/or contract terms that advance strategic goals. In addition, the Contracts Coordinator provides regular financial and status reports to internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for ongoing improvement of contracts management strategy, policies, systems and processes.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEAnalytical Thinking (I): Coordinates information gathering and reporting, reviews trends and compares to expectations.Defines priorities within performance objectives and prioritizes multiple issues and opportunities.Conducts research to define problems and prepares responses to anticipated questions.Anticipates issues that are not readily apparent, identifies root causes and effects, and considers the possible outcome of potential solutions.Reports and identifies areas that need guidance in order to resolve complex issues. Balances hard work with fun and is genuinely friendly and committed to other’s well-being.WHAT YOU BRING An undergraduate degree or a specialized post-secondary diploma in a related field with up to two years of related experience, or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.Specialized knowledge and experience in financial and accounting principles and processes, and an ability to apply technical/professional concepts and applications to tasks or activities.Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects, and working with internal and external parties in a coordinated mannerDemonstrated experience in utilizing databases and excellent attention to detailExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, able to represent the department with a high level of professionalism.Proven ability to respond to a wide variety of issues and deal with ambiguity and conflicting demandsEffective writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communicationDemonstrated expertise with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
