Risk Operations Center Analyst

As a Third-Party Risk Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will be to gather information security controls evidence from third-parties on behalf of our clients. This is an entry-level position suitable for an ambitious, hardworking, recent college graduate or college graduate with 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in information risk management. Candidates should be proactive, self-motivated, and highly professional, with outstanding customer relationship skills.For this role, you must be located in the Ottawa area. While primary work hours will be from home, there will be in office work days required as well.Qualifications1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in information riskStrong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting at all levels of the organization from analyst level to C-suiteAbility to multitask and complete assignments within deadlines that may have short lead timesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong relationship management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Security, Business Administration, or Risk Management (or equivalent experience)Willingness to obtain Industry certifications (e.g. CTPRP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIPP, CISA)Success CriteriaCreate and deliver online information risk surveys to our clients’ third-party vendors, which would include monitoring, technical support, and final provisioning of reviewed resultsDemonstrate strong customer service skills to ensure a smooth evidence collection experience for both clients and vendorsOvercome steep learning curves and have a basic understanding of software application structure and software development lifecyclesExplain and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and follow basic troubleshooting steps to work through issuesDemonstrate basic project management and documentation skills to manage multiple parallel work streamsWork well under pressure with tight deadlines to deliver superior service to our clients and stakeholders
