Sales Admin - Crossfield

WHO WE ARE: Alberta AG Centre is a full-line CLAAS Dealership with locations in Crossfield, High River, Stettler, Lougheed, Dunmore and Coaldale, Alberta. We offer the entire North American lineup of Class agriculture equipment along with other great product lines to meet the demands of the Alberta Agriculture Industry. Each of our stores features a full stock of parts, a knowledgeable sales team, and a competent team of factory-trained parts and service technicians. This role is based in Crossfield, AB.

Hours of work :

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM w/ a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
  • Possibility of Seasonal Overtime

Job Summary : The Sales Administrator is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Sales department, and directly supporting the Sales Management Team with any tasks assigned. The position also works closely with the finance team where applicable.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks : This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Provide customer service to both internal and external customers to meet their sales needs in alignment with the company’s sales protocols and processes
  • Responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of equipment sales invoices for all Alberta AG locations.
  • Data & Equipment Entry into CDK/IntelliDealer
  • Data & Equipment Entry into Iron HQ
  • Organize all applicable Sales paperwork (i.e., file creation, scanning, filing, online customer file creation)
  • Updating the Sales SharePoint portal
  • Attending and recording minutes for the weekly sales meetings to have continued involvement with the sales team
  • Building packages for members of the sales team
  • Maintaining equipment ads with external agencies and company website
  • Maintain communication with sales team and other internal departments
  • Maintain equipment inventory in systems
  • Travel with the Sales team as needed

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements :

  • Stand/Walk/sit for 8+ hours
  • Light lifting occasionally

Competencies and Qualifications :

  • Job related experience in AG industry preferred
  • CDK-IntelliDealer & Iron HQ experience considered an asset.
  • Dealership experience considered an Asset
  • Previous invoicing, reconciliation, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable experience would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of general business practices.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office
  • Ability to learn new software programs.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly-both written and verbal.
  • Good organization and time management skills with a willingness to work within a flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self sufficient with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask and follow through with set tasks.
  • At all times, must be able to display a high degree of judgement, discretion, and confidentiality.
