Job Description WHAT’S THE JOB? As a remote Camp Manager , you will be a self-starter who possess effective skills in communication, time management and organization. This is a rotational position working 3 weeks on/3 weeks off in a remote camp site. Travel and accomodations are provided. Your work will include: Managing the day-to-day activities of an assigned camp.  Uphold camp and workplace health and safety standards. Meet with clients and provide quality customer service by addressing their special requests and concerns in a prompt and effective manner.  Supervising, training and managing staff performance issues.  Manage staff scheduling, payroll and daily and weekly meetings. Inspecting, evaluating and ensuring the camp cleanliness, food quality and presentation and controlling inventory to meet or exceed expectation.  Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports. Maintain project budget; tracking occupancy, staffing and monitoring expenses. Performing administrative tasks which include liaisons with the client, managing room bookings, preparing reports.  Troubleshooting minor maintenance problems if necessary.  WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? Camp, hotel or restaurant management experience is required.  Knowledge of kitchen operations is an asset. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must have a G drivers license and clean drivers abstract.  Advanced Food Safety certification and First Aid certification is an asset.  Working knowledge of MS Office. Experience managing and working alongside a diverse workforce MUST have the ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol testing (substances tested for include alcohol, cannabis, narcotics, stimulants, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, opioids and derivatives – including buprenorphine and methadone, etc.) Additional Information Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
