The Planning Partnership is a Toronto based consulting firm providing land use planning, urban design, landscape architecture and communications services across the Greater Toronto Area and the Province.
We are seeking experienced and highly motivated land use planners to support the firm’s work in securing specialized and high-profile development approvals. This is a full-time position in the office for individuals who are energized by being within a busy, dynamic environment and that value the personal collaboration and benefits of mentoring that results from the experience of working directly alongside principals, senior professionals and the firm’s other specialists each day.
Candidates must have a degree in Urban Planning and a minimum of 2 years continuous, paid full-time employment, preferably with experience in supporting urban development projects and planning applications. Work involving multiple projects within a consulting environment would be a definite asset. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their skills, including excellent writing, analytical, research and graphic skills and be comfortable communicating with the public, councils, committees, municipal or agency staff and other stakeholders.
