Position Title:  Overnight Dispatcher Shift: 23:30-7:30 Work schedule: 4 nights on 4 nights off  Location: Commissionaires Victoria HQ - 928 Cloverdale Avenue  Reports to:  Client Services Manager Wage: $22.50/hr plus RSP  JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: React appropriately in terms of staffing requirements from both Site Supervisors and clients. Utilize our Commissionaires in the most effective and positive manner. Ensure Client Service Managers (CSMs) and Supervisors are kept up to date with all operational matters. Ensure Commissionaires receive appropriate post instructions when dispatched to a detachment. Respond to calls from Alarm Monitoring companies and dispatch the appropriate Mobile. Support our Clients by answering any questions with respect to their concerns. Monitor digital TrackTik reports. Schedule Commissionaires to sites/units under the control of the Operation Centre in TrackTik Confirm with the Commissionaires that have been scheduled to any of our sites, understand their duties and have the proper equipment for their shifts. Fill short notice requests for Commissionaires who have called in sick, no showed or have been removed from sites in ISE. Adhere to our Commissionaires safety through the StaySafe website, respond if necessary.  Ensure that all Commissionaires have completed their Man-Check-ins, respond if necessary. Add, remove, accept, decline, and post all “Live Schedule” shifts. Ensure the Supervisors, Client Services Managers are included on all emails and advised of all directives before being put into action. Complete any other assignments as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: Must have a valid BC Security License  Must be able to work different shifts including days, afternoons and overnights when needed. Must have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferable experience with Tracktik and ISE or similar systems). Must be able to build and maintain positive client and commissionaire relationships with superior customer service skills. Must have dispatch or scheduling experience. Must be able to multitask with a variety of competing deadlines and respond appropriately under pressure with a calm and steady demeanour. Must have a discreet and pleasant manner when dealing with Corps personnel, clients, and the public. Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
