Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:The Director, ERP will be key part of the ERP and Business Systems team and will be responsible for planning, designing, enhancing, deploying, and supporting all aspects of the ERP solution at Arc’teryx. The role will provide strategic leadership on integrated business processes like Procure to Pay and Order to Cash, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Operations and Data Governance to help build an efficient and effective business operation. The role will own, prioritize, optimize, and execute on the ERP strategic roadmap in conjunction with the business partners. You provide coaching and leadership to the team, ensuring they are supported in their day-to-day challenges and set up for success in delivering high quality solutions. Meet Your Future Team: The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts who know and understand the tools that we use to support the business. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out and sequenced to deliver the overall technology roadmap. Together, we host, manage, and improve a range of technical tools for all aspects of design, business, finance, logistics, global sales, and many other heroes within the organization.If you were the Director, ERP now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Develop and execute the strategic direction for the ERP suite of products, in alignment with the organizational objectivesProvide leadership and guidance to ensure effective governance of the ERP solution and adherence to best practicesEnsure delivery excellence by building a high performing team. Foster a culture of excellence, partnership, and continuous improvementDrive the adoption of the ERP solution by executing on the technology vision for the ERP PlatformProvide functional leadership and guidance to both the ERP team and the business users. Help optimize business processes and unlock hidden value within the ERP environmentEstablish and enforce design principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintain system integrityCollaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to plan, prioritize and manage the delivery of enhancements and new functionalities to the ERP suite of products. Ensure that all the configuration changes and enhancements meet SOX regulatory compliance standardsManage the review and approval process for the ERP configuration change requests, enhancement requests, and development activity. Predominantly adhere to standard solutionStay up to date with the latest developments in ERP functionality and identify opportunities for process improvements and automationAct as a trusted advisor to senior management and business SME’s by providing thought leadership and recommendations on leveraging ERP capabilities to drive business growth and optimize business operationsBuild strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants to leverage their expertise to support and enhance the ERP landscapeCollaborate with other IT peers to ensure best-in-class SDLC management from solutioning of the business requirements through to development, testing and deployment of world class solutionsIdentify training requirements and coordinate end user training for ERP systemsSupport the ERP portfolio of applications by monitoring and maintaining the performance of the ERP applications. Troubleshoot failures, monitor jobs and resolve issues in line with SLA’s. You have a relevant university degree or technical diploma in a related information technology field, a master’s degree would be considered an asset You have 10+ years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and supporting the SAP ERP systems, including solid understanding of the SAP landscape, modules, terminology, and methodologiesYou have a deep business process knowledge of key areas such as Master Data Management, Finance, Wholesale, Retail, Supply Chain Management, Merchandise Planning, and e-commerceYou have strong leadership skills, with an ability to build and lead high performing teams, with experience training, coaching and supervising team membersYou have the ability to shape and deliver large, complicated projects, that meet and exceed business expectationsYou have proven stakeholder management skills with excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have in-depth, end to end knowledge of the Apparel Industry business processes with exposure to buying, supply chain, finance, wholesale, and omni-channel retailingYou are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a teamYou are adaptable and demonstrate forward thinking on new challengesYou are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight timescalesYou remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou are able to balance autonomy and collaborationYou inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement with an agile mindset$146,000 - $182,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$146,000 - CAD$182,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
