ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton requires an experienced Accounting Assistant that will provide high level administrative assistance and support to the Accounting Team.

Position Overview

  • Accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills are required.
  • Experience with billing is a must.
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly billings.
  • Prepare consumable inventory entries.
  • Prepare cheque requisitions.
  • Assist with AR and AP as necessary.
  • Data entry as needed.
  • General accounting administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1 -3 years accounting experience
  • Working experience with Excel spreadsheets is a must.
  • Working experience with Acumatica accounting software would be an asset.
