Delivery Driver - Furniture Technician

About the Position - You are the Schelter's Ambassador responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences to our business accounts.

• A Full Time Flex Positition - days only Monday to Friday position with steady hours. Hours can flex based on your availability matched to our work requirements - Shift length average of 8 hours, days only Monday to Friday...most shifts will start at 8 AM. It will not be unusual to reach 40 + hours of work in a week...if you are available and wanting the shifts. Contract is 1 year in length BUT strong potential for renewal at end of period for successful performance.
• A workout without the gym membership - ideal for active person who enjoys being physically busy with required regular lifting of up to 70 lbs.Must move with a sense of purpose and urgency throughout work day.
• Loading and unloading your truck with boxed deliveries of office supply orders, installing office furniture, assisting a customer with a return, routing your deliveries using PC software and GPS and battling traffic are all part of a busy day.

• Previous experience in a customer service position is a bonus. Comfortable with basic electric hand tools including power drills. Experience as a courier/delivery driver or warehouse shipping/receiving position also considered an asset.

You have a good driving history, clean drivers abstract and history and are comfortable driving in all kinds of weather conditions. You are flexible and enjoy adapting to challenges as they are presented to you. You like physical work, enjoy being outside in all kinds of weather and love making people smile.
