WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Someone who can handle many projects simultaneously - A person who can adapt to the ever-changing world of retail - Someone with a passion for home staging and interior decorating - An individual with excellent communication skills, friendly and courteous - Someone who can cultivate a consistent, industry leading and safe customer experience through visual merchandising and store space planning - A person who can manage the inventory of both Tepperman’s and The Outlet at Tepperman’s sales floors - Someone to decorate and merchandise showroom displays daily with a focus on current style trends and product allocation - A person to conduct regular walk-throughs to assess showroom needs (lighting, company standards, product needs) - Someone responsible for inventory control and showroom maintenance - An individual to assist with marketing and in-store signage - A person who can coordinate with the warehouse department for labour support needs, project and product updates, etc. - Someone to maintain an efficient and orderly storage area and workspace - A person who can successfully execute special projects as defined by the Buying Team, Store Management and Company Merchandising Manager WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED - Post secondary education in Interior Design/Decorating is required - A passion for delivering a world class customer experience, ideally with previous decorating or merchandising experience in a retail environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - A drive to maximize store earnings potential in a fast-paced environment - Good organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to meet time goals and deadlines - Be a self-motivated individual that strives to maximize their results and achieve targets - Energy, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to move at a fast pace - A flexible full-time retail work schedule.
