Plasman, Tilbury Manufacturing, 24 Industrial Park Rd, Tilbury Ontario is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as : SHIPPING / RECEIVING COORDINATOR

  • Organize daily shipping requirements as scheduled & communicate all shipping and production activities to the Materials Manager
  • Communication daily releases to Shipping Personnel to ensure orders are prepared for shipment.
  • Co-ordinate the transportation requirement through the corporate logistic company for
  • Providing direction and support to all lift truck drivers as required by facility.
  • Communicate and complete necessary customer container tracking information and submit on customer Portal when applicable.
  • Relieving inventory in Trans4M as required.
  • Responsible for all EDI transactions.
  • Assist in training shipping personnel as required.
  • Participate in inventory as required.
  • Responsible for checking all respective Customer Portals through all respective drive windows per day and respond accordingly.
  • Customer contact on off shift as required.
  • Comply and be involved in all current ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards and requirement related to Materials department

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have recognized Diploma in related area.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must have at least 3-5 years' experience in materials, with preference given to those who have 3-5 years' experience in inventory control, with a solid background in autonomous functions within a production & manufacturing environment.
  • Materials experience to include working knowledge of Trans4M an asset
  • Computer skills to include experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
