Medical, dental and vision coverage after 3 months of service Retirement savings program with company match after 1 year of service Opportunities for growth and training development The Opportunity Reporting to the Operations Supervisor the Forklift Operator is responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks using an RF and various material handling equipment. Follows best practice processes to ensure we are efficient, accurate, and provide quality and on-time orders for our customers. Responsibilities: The material handler plays an important role in meeting customer agreements which include productivity, accuracy, and service level.  Responsible for the handling of product for various operational processes, including receiving, order picking, shipping, and inventory control. This role requires the use of material handling equipment and RF technology.  Follows Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality and consistency is achieved.  Completes material handling tasks as presented on the RF, scanning where possible to avoid manual keying. Participates in inventory activities including physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Moves empty pallets, depositing them at the designated pallet holding location. Keeps the warehouse clean, orderly, and free from obstructions, with all debris placed in proper containers or designated areas. Operates equipment and completes tasks in a manner consistent with company Health & Safety policies. Other duties as assigned. Experience: Two (2) years warehouse experience, with one year’s operating material handling equipment (MHE) with a proven track record for safety. Previous experience with RF based Warehouse Management System (WMS) or voice recognition system would be an asset.  Required Qualifications: Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, order picking, shipping and inventory control Be reliable and dependable, able to be at work every day, on time. Able to work in a fast-paced and task-oriented environment. Work collaboratively as part of a team and follow safe work practices. Some high school, completion of secondary school diploma preferred.  Certifications: One or a combination of the following equipment experience and certification - Raymond Reach, Dock Stocker, and/or Double Walkie. Working Conditions: Able to commit to a flexible work schedule, including overtime and weekends when required. Works 100% of their time on the warehouse floor, walking, standing, and bending. Capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly and safely. Recognize that work hours and location may change.
