Job Description:
As an Intermediate A&D Specification Representative, you will play a key role in pioneering a new construction industry concept, focusing on training and developing innovative strategies for market penetration. You will assist in expanding our market presence throughout North America and increasing product specification, with a focus on educating industry professionals about our groundbreaking products and solutions. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and eager to make a meaningful impact in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing and nurturing relationships with architects, architectural firms, developers, and builders in Toronto and beyond, both in-person and remotely through the use of EUs, AIAs.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement strategic plans to generate leads, enhance market presence, and meet ambitious specification targets.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to understand emerging industry requirements and identify opportunities to integrate solar-integrated building designs.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate architects, developers, and builders on the advantages and versatility of our products, demonstrating how they meet unique project requirements and exceed industry standards.
- Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate our value propositions.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Understanding of sustainable building envelope design principles and energy-efficient solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally internationally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and CAD.
