Overview The position support the execution and development of the Project's commercial management workplans and coordinates the receipt, review, and approval of Project information. Accountabilities Receives and reviews project information (e.g., submissions and correspondence) to monitor, assess, and maintain awareness of issues and concerns. Prioritizes correspondence and submission reviews and facilitate responses by applicable discipline. Develops and maintains a tracking system to manage correspondence and maintain and report on the status/resolution of issues (e.g., pending changes, claims, notices). Monitors schedules and deadlines related to document review and ensure completion aligns with contractual terms and requirements. Drafts basic correspondences and manages finalization of correspondence and reports. Drafts/updates a variety of documents (e.g., notifications, briefing notes, correspondence, project plan documents, summaries, etc.) required to support the project team. Facilitates and attends regular meetings to track and report on project activities. Coordinates contract change management and drafts initial change documents. Reviews and evaluates change related documents. Reviews and evaluates contractor’s claims-related correspondence and coordinates advancement with the Commercial Manager. Coordinates monthly reporting and collection and assembly of data from relevant disciplines on the project team. Qualifications Post-secondary education and several years of experience in contract administration or contract management, or experience as Owner’s Consultant/Representative with a focus on P3/DB/DBF contracts and document management and control systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of public sector infrastructure contracts. Knowledge and experience in change management. Knowledge and experience in claim evaluation. Outstanding organizational skills. Knowledge of contract law. Detail and process oriented. Superior oral and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate and draft project correspondence. Ability to facilitate a collaborative team culture. Ability to work independently. Preference may be given to applicants with experience on major infrastructure projects and an understanding of contractual relationships and processes in a DBF environment.
