In this role, you will ensure a high caliber of food service for guests and staff through proper preparation and presentation of food and preparing all menu items with strict adherence to specifications in a safe and sanitary manner. You will maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and the requirements of the Board of Health. You will work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies and procedures.

  • Experience not required, but considered an asset
  • Safe food handling course considered an asset
  • Knife handling skills considered an asset
  • MUST have the ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • 2 years culinary training or experience in a class hotel.- Volume line cooking experience is an asset.- Must be able to work various shifts including nights, back shifts, weekends and holidays.- Must have excellent customer service skills with guests and co-workers.- Must be able to lift 25kg.- Able to work in a hot, noisy, busy environment.
