Discovery Wildlife Park is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic person for seasonal employment as an Assistant Animal Care worker from now until mid oct, possibility of extended employment. Physical fitness is required. Good communication skills, and reliable transportation is a must. Job description includes; daily care of small animals and reptiles, answering questions and doing informal talks with our visitors, assisting zookeepers in daily routines. This is a fast-paced environment, requiring considerable on-grounds mobility where there are long periods of time spent on foot indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexible work scheduling, including weekends and holidays. All applicants must be over the age of 18. Applicants that are considered of interest will be contacted for an interview. All successful applicants will be required to volunteer for 40 hours prior to hiring. Cover letters are appreciated.
