• This position is located at Boston Pizza at Bingemans.

What will you be doing?

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Wash dishes using sink method.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all kitchenware.
• Keep dish room clean and organized.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with receiving and shipping if required.
• Clean ovens and industrial kitchen equipment as required.
• General cleaning duties.
• Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
• Other tasks as required by management or leadership.

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
• Heavy lifting.
• Adapt easily to working in different situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Friendly, outgoing, service-oriented attitude.
• Good knowledge of dish machine operations and cleaning maintenance.
• Must have previous experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Flexible to work various shifts (including days, evening and weekends). Mainly Thursday to Sunday.
