About the PositionThe Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for scheduling all maintenance work performed in the plant. The maintenance planner will also be responsible for purchasing the necessary parts, researching suppliers and maintaining the parts inventory. He will be responsible for the development of the CMMS (Maximo). He/she will have to put in place processes to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance work and its compliance with corporate programs.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan the work by conducting field visits to determine the time, materials, and tools needed.Develop and maintain a work order system to ensure accuracy and standardization of tasks.Order the required materials and verify that they are accurate before planning the work.Organize follow-up meetingsManage KPIs related to task planning and execution.Required Skills and QualificationsIn-depth knowledge and experience with a CMMS (Maximo or other).Knowledge and experience with purchasing software (Maximo, COUPA or other) Detailed understanding of the operation and maintenance of a food manufacturing plant.Education or Work ExperienceA technical diploma (DEC) in electrical or mechanical engineering technology is preferred or equivalent field experience.Experience in maintenance planning is preferred.Must be proficient in French and English, both spoken and written (A spoken and written English is required for this position due to business transactions and communication with American and other Canadian partners) Additional Information Work in accordance with local/provincial legislationUnderstands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirementsAll candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
