Carpentify360 is seeking a skilled Carpenter on behalf of our client. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing various carpentry projects, from start to finish, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Use hand and power tools to cut and shape wood according to project specifications
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Read and interpret blueprints and design plans to determine project specifications
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain and repair existing carpentry work when needed
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans
- Experience with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High school diploma or equivalent required, certification or apprenticeship preferred
