Carpentry Project Coordinator

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and oversee carpentry projects from conception to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction
  • Prepare project budgets and estimates, and track expenses to ensure they remain within budget
  • Hire, train, and manage carpenters and other project staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring that all work meets quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones, and adjust them as needed to accommodate changes in scope or project priorities
  • Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements and timelines are met
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements on job sites
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry professionals to stay current on best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in carpentry

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a carpentry or construction-related field
  • Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as materials, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team of carpenters and other project staff
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules, and other project management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
