Carpentry Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Operations Manager to oversee our client's carpentry division. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our carpentry operations, including planning, budgeting, and executing projects to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of our woodworking operations, including planning, budgeting, and executing projects
  • Manage a team of skilled carpenters and woodworking professionals
  • Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Optimize operations by collaborating with other departments
  • Ensure timely delivery and high-quality output
  • Develop and implement carpentry strategies to achieve company goals
  • Plan and execute carpentry projects within budget and schedule constraints
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
  • Manage and mentor carpentry staff, providing training and guidance to improve performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor and analyze carpentry operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain accurate carpentry project records and reports for management
  • Stay up-to-date with carpentry trends, techniques, and technologies, and implement best practices as appropriate.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in the carpentry industry
  • In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as materials and tools
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to mentor and manage a team of carpentry professionals
  • Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in carpentry or a related field
