Job Title:: Controller Location: Montreal Salary : Up to 120K depending on experience Type: Temporary to Permanent Advantages - Group insurance and pension plan with company contribution after 3 months in office - Teamwork and knowledge-sharing work environment - Challenging work in a fast-paced environment - Flexible work schedule and telecommuting up to 3 days/week Responsibilities As the Controller, you are a key part of the financial leadership team, helping to ensure the financial health and sustainable growth of the company. Here is an overview of your main responsibilities: - Develop and implement long-term financial plans for the company, taking into account business objectives and financial constraints. - Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, working with the different divisions of the company to assess financial needs and resources. - Analyze the company's financial performance by reviewing financial statements, identifying trends, and assessing deviations from targets. - Monitor and control costs in all aspects of the company's operations, identifying opportunities for savings and implementing cost optimization measures. - Prepare and present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, including management, shareholders and regulators. - Identify, assess, and manage the financial risks to which the company is exposed, implementing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. - All other related tasks Qualifications - CPA designation, a considerable asset - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position - Ability to take initiative - Unlimited commitment to continuous improvement. - Bilingual French and English, oral and written - Strong work ethic and great attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Summary Are you interested in this position?
