Business Intelligence Manager

Job Description You will be responsible for managing, supervising and coordinating all activities of a Business Intelligence IT Delivery group, in the delivery of relevant tools to support UAP's analytics team. You will work closely with the analytics team to support them in achieving their strategic objectives.  You will be responsible for the implementation of new technologies and the evolution and stability of the business intelligence systems under your responsibility.   You will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions proposed and delivered are in line with best practice in data architecture and business intelligence and that they are aligned with the organisation's strategic directions (technological and business). You will represent IT to the analytics group for the management of system evolution requests by helping them define a technology roadmap that will support their business objectives.  Working with the analytics group, you will be involved in defining and implementing a new data architecture and data governance as part of the deployment of a new data lake on Google's BigQuery platform.  You will also be required to apply a methodology that promotes the rapid and efficient delivery of solutions while ensuring that quality is maintained. As part of your role, you'll manage a multidisciplinary team of data architects, analysts and BI developers.  You will also work regularly in matrix mode with several Information Technology groups. Furthermore, for this opportunity, you will be able to work from home 3 days a week! Qualifications To join our team, you need: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in managing a multidisciplinary software delivery team Experience in distribution and/or retail is desired Knowledge of delivering complex BI solutions Knowledge of Cognos, PowerBI, BigQuery, Informatica is an asset 2 to 3 years' experience with SOX controls as a software delivery manager Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken.  As part of your role, you will routinely work with internal clients across Canada.
