Responsibilities
- Drive to job sites and operate the stone slinger
- Operate slinger and spread material to minimize manual labour and increase efficiency on job sites
- Delivering materials such as mulch, topsoil and gravel
- Some general labour duties on job sites such as shovelling
- Required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Comply with all company health and safety guidelines
- Responsible for own transportation to shop
- Responsible to provide own CSA approve safety boots
- Other duties will be assigned as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3 years of previous DZ driving experience required
- Must be comfortable driving standard transmission
- DZ license required
- Must be safety conscious
- Excellent team player
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must be punctual and personable
- Must obtain WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety training
