This long-term contract / temporary Full Charge Bookkeeper position is located in Ottawa, Ontario.Your responsibilities-Managing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers-Retaining historical records through the accurate filing of documents-Maintaining knowledge of current federal, state, and local legal requirements, ensuring adherence to them, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions-Tracking fixed assets and constructing depreciation schedules-Ensuring correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year end close-Putting together the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement-Handling reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, and processing payroll-Handling processing tasks for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
