What the position is

We are looking for someone to join our customer service and order processing team! We are an e-commerce company with multiple web sites, and business-to-business sales. The position requires the new hired person to start in the warehouse to do the packing to get to know the products and the processes.

You will be responsible for communicating with customers in regards to product questions and advice and order updates. You will also be responsible for preparing the paperwork for the order to ship from our facility and/or from one of the manufacturers’ locations, and for communicating with the vendors about shipping orders, delays, changes, and new products. Managing inventory and ordering in special items will also be a part of your responsibilities, as well as working with data entry software to create customs declarations for international orders.

An NDA (non-disclosure agreement) is required in order to maintain the privacy of our clients. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.

Your role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Review and process orders using Quickbooks and internal administration tools
  • Keep internal administration tools up to date
  • Prepare data for customs declaration for shipments leaving the building
  • Work with team members to ensure all orders are shipped promptly and that communication to customers is efficient, current and friendly
  • Be familiar with shipping carriers like Canada Post and FedEx
  • Have experience in customer service, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Compensation & how to apply

  • $25 per hour for 40 hour work week to start.
