Communitech is a hybrid organization headquartered in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. In-person connection is important to us, so we get together regularly for special events, collaboration days and team socials, and we ask our team members to work onsite from our Kitchener facility for a minimum of 2 days/week. We are a flexible, people first environment and want to allow our people to make decisions and choices about where they work to support work life balance within clear guidelines.

The Director, Founder Services will oversee the Founder Services team and day to day operations. This role will be internally focused on process improvements and report to the Senior VP, Founder Services.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Assisting with development and measurement of OKRs to monitor program effectiveness and iterate as needed- Building and executing on a membership strategy plan- Leading the team of Founder Success Managers, Membership Specialists, coordinators and others to ensure delivery of superior services and programs to founder members- Assisting with budget creation and management for the Founder Services department, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.- Assisting with government reporting as required- Working with the team to identify the best potential attendees for roundtables, speaking engagements and other opportunities as they come up- Working closely with the VP of Programs to ensure consistent approach with our founder support activities- Occasionally representing Communitech and the Founder Services Team at community events (sometimes outside core business hours)

Qualifications - 5-7 years’ experience managing & developing teams- Excellent communication and influence abilities across the organization- Active listener and strategic thinker- Goal oriented- Strong cultural fit is key - can balance agility and process- Resourceful, highly-evolved problem-solving skills- Values collaboration and open-mindedness- Ability to seamlessly manage diverse perspectives, personalities and agendas- Ability to anticipate needs, diagnose problems and recommend solutions
