Security Guard Weekend Nights

Barber Collins Security is looking for a Part Time Security guard to work in a 2 building apartment complex in Kitchener

Every Friday and Saturday night 9pm to 5am

Responsibilities :

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security equipment
• Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to prevent unauthorized access or activities
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents

Requirements :

• Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques, procedures, and equipment
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk up and down stairs for long periods of time

Skills :

• Surveillance: Ability to monitor and observe activities using CCTV cameras or other surveillance equipment.
• CCTV: Proficiency in operating closed-circuit television systems for monitoring purposes.
• Law enforcement: Understanding of basic law enforcement procedures and protocols.
• Loss prevention: Knowledge of techniques and strategies to prevent theft, vandalism, or other losses.
