Opportunity Summary Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, as the Superintendent, Special Projects, you will collaborate and lead teams to execute and deliver quality projects on time and on budget. You will be responsible for providing overall supervision, coordination, and scheduling of construction activities. This position may require you to travel to and supervise multiple sites at once across the City of Vancouver. Key Responsibilities On site supervision and coordination of trades for a variety of projects across the City of Vancouver. a collaborate style, coordinate and supervise all construction activities on site. project is constructed according to drawings, specifications, project schedule and budget. Develop recovery strategies when project schedule or budgets are in jeopardy. Establish and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. and update schedule, cost forecast and cash flow with Project Manager. appropriate field documentation including safety, progress reports, rental records, logs etc. Provide leadership to peers ensuring all site staff are adhering to the company safety culture. Qualifications At least 5+ years previous experience working on residential, institutional, or commercial projects up to $10 million. or Building Envelope experience considered an asset. diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and experience. relationship and team building skills with proven integrity dealing with Clients, Trades and Consultants. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction such as technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, drawings, specifications, procedures, scheduling, and safety requirements. Proven creative problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to successfully translate technical information to non-technical individuals. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with Procore.
