Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Adhere to all regulations set by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and follow standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of cannabis and provide individualized experiences that exceed expectations.
• Drive sales across different product categories and attract new and returning customers.
• Welcome guests to the store, check identification, and ensure they are safe to enter.
• Handle difficult situations with customers professionally and compassionately.
• Maintain the store's appearance by cleaning, restocking, organizing, and following merchandising plans.
• Assist in protecting assets and preventing losses by reporting any suspicious incidents to management.
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with visual merchandising and product displays
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash management

Requirements : -Must be available every weekend (Saturday & Sunday), Friday evenings would be a bonus!

• Must have CanSell certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Understanding of terpenes, cannabinoids, and the effects of cannabis, and the ability to communicate this to customers effectively.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, knowledge-driven environment, with bonus points for experience in a regulated industry.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
