Job Summary :The Maintenance Reliability Lead ensures efficient maintenance operations in a manufacturing plant by coordinating schedules, managing inventory, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Reliability Lead handle workflow planning, oversees maintenance tasks, and drives reliability improvements. This role reports to the Mississauga & Toronto Maintenance Planner and Scheduler.

Required Education/Experience :

  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision, planning, and scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, planning, and scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Skills/Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in maintaining and managing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Oracle purchasing modules
  • Strong skills in scheduling and coordinating workflows, managing maintenance schedules, and handling work orders
  • Capability to audit maintenance and operational practices, and report findings for organizational improvements
  • Strong analytical skills for critical problem identification and complex issue resolution in maintenance processes
  • Proven ability to manage and plan crew work assignments and collaborate effectively with various departments

Responsibilities :

  • Facilitates improvement initiatives including focus teams/plant reliability lead team meetings, interfaces, and support requirements
  • Maintain project master plan schedules and the primary contact with CRI or the OPEX reliability leader receiving training materials and receiving dedicated training
  • Capability to design processes
  • Critical analysis of the most complex problem identification
  • Conduct in-depth problem-solving exercise to improve equipment reliability
  • Revise the PM and PDM designs based on improvement of the equipment reliability
  • Conduct recycling training as part of skill matrix of the craftsmen and operators
  • Audit the maintenance organization for discipline to follow-up the following processes: asset strategy, CMMS, work order completion, planning and scheduling, PM and PDM
  • Audit the operation organization for discipline in operator’s care
  • Report to the Maintenance manager the audit results for recognition and improvements of the maintenance organization execution
  • Other duties as assigned
