Job Description Print Production Clerk Our client in the printing industry is seeking a Print Production Clerk to join their team. This role involves hands-on operation of digital printing and finishing equipment, ensuring smooth production processes, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, casual work environment. This is an on-site role, accessible via subway, with responsibilities at two locations. Responsibilities: • Operate digital print equipment, including both Black & White and Colour copiers/printers. • Utilize workflow tools such as Free Flow and Fiery. • Operate finishing equipment including paper cutters, bindery machines, laminators, desktop folders, and drills. • Serve as the point of contact for customer requests, providing estimates, scheduling, and tracking print production. • Perform quality checks before, during, and after production runs to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Track and store customer jobs for future reuse, maintaining detailed reporting logs for billing purposes. • Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products. • Maintain supply inventory at optimal levels. • Troubleshoot basic production and output issues to meet delivery deadlines. What you will need to succeed: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Post high school technology training or experience (preferred). • 1 to 2 years of experience in a digital print shop and customer service environment. • Strong communication skills (oral and written). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other relevant software. • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work with minimal supervision. • Ability to stand for up to 80% of the day and lift up to 50 pounds.
