Retail Sales Associate/cashier

Duties :

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Perform fuel transactions and pump gas for customers
  • Monitor fuel levels and restock fuel as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restrooms and convenience store area
  • Stock shelves and maintain inventory of merchandise
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning pumps and changing trash bins
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Experience :

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and concerns
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating fuel transactions
  • Cashiering experience is a plus
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus
