FINANCE TENDER MANAGER (M/F): The FTM organization is part of the Finance organization and covers all Financial topics during the entire tender lifecycle, i.e. from ‘Business Opportunity Review’ (BOR) to CPR0.

**MISSIONS (Main Objectives)***

  • Participate in overall Tender management process jointly with Tender Leader.

  • Main partner for the Financial Strategy of the tender.

  • Business Partnering:

  • provide finance advise and tutoring to the tender team.

  • set up technical expertise within the real and current concerns of the business to create value.

  • enrich integration within the organization (functional intermediation).

  • ensure compliance of finance rules in tender preparation.

  • enhance business agility and awareness.

  • Supervision, analysis and support of overall finance topics of the tender.

  • Add insight and accuracy to tender financial information.

  • Challenge and approve Financials (costing, cash, competitiveness) as per DoA (delegation from Region FTM/FPM) throughout tender process

  • Liaise with other finance expert functions (e.g. Tax and Customs, Treasury and Financing, Global Performance, Internal Audit & Risk Management, Accounting and Finance efficiency, etc.).

  • Cooperate with other expert functions (e.g. Legal, Platforms, Operational Excellence, etc.).

  • Contribute in negotiation process to win the tender (customer and / or partner).

  • Support Tender Leader in risks and opportunities process and sign-off contingencies/committed savings

  • Be involved in make or buy process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the businesses portfolio and the operation of every business function.

  • Challenge and support tender team in the development of financially strong, and commercial robust solutions.

  • Participate actively in tender finance support until tender submission

  • Communicate effectively with tender Stakeholders and provide reliable financial analysis to assist in the decision-making (Explain, justify and keep record in detail).

  • Prepare jointly with the tender team, the tender reviews content.

  • Support the FPM (jointly with the Cost Manager) in CPR0 process in a suitable manner.

  • FTM is permanently focused on adding value through:

  • Participating and influencing negotiations.

  • Challenging financial information throughout tender process.

  • Verifying that the global financial strategy of the tender is solid and coherent.

  • Monitoring compliance with all governance and reporting rules in tenders.

  • Working with operational teams to ensure an effective transition of tender into operational contracts.

  • Advising about all financial matters in tender information (RFQ) focusing on guiding on competitiveness improvement.

  • Anticipating on IFRS topics.

  • Evaluating costs and revenue structure proposed by tender team, focusing on advising on competitiveness improvement.

  • Analyzing the cash profile, focusing and advising on optimizing liquidity flows (hypothesis check, compare with previous tenders, cash phasing, etc.).

  • Suggesting working capital improvements.

  • Understanding the forex and firming strategy and supervising that recommendations of the experts are applied within the global financial strategy for the tender.

  • Understanding the tax guidance and ensuring that recommendations of the experts are considered within the financial strategy for the tender.

  • Understanding and challenging the Project Industrial Organization (PIO).

  • Evaluating Contract Price Adjustment (CPA) formula proposed in the tender, focusing and advising on efficiency and correct appliance (Indexes, shortfall provision, CPA Cautiousness, etc.)

  • Supporting and contributing with the Tender Leader to build the pricelist.

  • Challenging and validating capex budget or R&D budget

  • Participating in make or buy process.

  • Verifying that all "financial nature” costs (B & G, Forex, firming, tax, etc.) in the tender are considered in the tender and that they are consistent with the recommendations of the experts.

  • Checking along tender process that the cost integration is consistent (firming, hedge, ISP, etc.).

  • Synthesizing overall cost equation (including options impacts if any) and reviewing the consistency of the TSP.
