Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience :

  • Post-secondary education (community college or other)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines, prioritize and multi-talk
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Previous experience with accounting software considered an asset
  • Understanding of Payroll and Accounts Payable

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Enter daily employee data from time cards and ensure work history is up to date and complete for each pay cycle
  • Issue purchase orders
  • Enter accounts payable invoices
  • Book hotels for out of town employees
  • Prepare and deliver bank deposits
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Maintain office filing system
  • Other duties as required
