Maritime Pride Eggs in Amherst, Nova Scotia is looking for a Maintenance Technician.
- A strong background in Industrial Machinery Maintenance (Minimum 3 years experience)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Experience working in a food processing facility
Expectations of you :
- Complete Predictive and preventative maintenance
- Complete adjustments on machinery as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Complete logs and communicate with supervisors, managers, and operators on work preformed.
- Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Ensure all work is completed following all plant policies (food safety program)
- All other duties assigned by your supervisor
Position Demands :
- Standing and walking up to 10 hours a day
- Continually bending, twisting, using arms, wrists, and hands throughout shift
