We want you to feel valued and welcomed within our diverse, inclusive team, and here’s how we do it: Extended Benefits for You and Your Family Health, Dental & Vision Care Insurance Life Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment Disability Education and Savings Plans, RRSP matching Health and Wellness program Employee & Family Assistance Program Generous Employee Perks and Discounts Career Development Support & Promote-From-Within Culture to enhance your expertise and maximize your career journey Work Flexibility to fit your unique schedule What you’ll do:Work with the team to identify the causes behind receiving issues Collaborate with & advise the Put Away Team on slotting new and existing products based on their physical attributes and movement frequencyHelp set up let down min max quantities and monitor the need for additional items for this activityBe the lead contact for finding back orders or missing items that customers and stores are asking for through WH1 e-mailPerform second checks on quick picks and make the appropriate stock adjustments if requiredPerform daily review of short picks and investigate why they were shorted, perform cycle counts if the product can’t be foundEnsure the correct disposition of internal damaged goods within the warehouseEnsure daily cycle counts are done by the inventory Control Lead as per an annual schedule to ensure all items and locations are counted at least once a year.Work with Consolidation leads and picking supervisors to research missing products from totes at consolidation and correct them on a timely basis.Run a report to check for ghost products sitting in totes and provide corrective actionsInvestigate miss-ships and take corrective actionWork with department heads to inform them of any employee performance issues around following proceduresProduce a month-end report for the Senior DC ManagerComply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensuring safety and health regulations in the warehouse are followed and enforcedKeep current with product knowledge and WMS SystemOther duties as assigned by managementDo you fit the part?  Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization10 years of warehouse leadership experience Must be physically fit, able to safely and repeatedly lift, stack, pull, and carry heavy items up to 50lbsRequires the ability to work with basic computer applications Good math skills and attention to detailSolid understanding of health and safety regulationsRequires the ability to be organized, multitask, and solve problemsLordco is committed to creating a diverse workplace to represent the communities we serve and to better meet the needs of our citizens.
