CNC Operator/shop Helper (Entry Level Position)

We are a dynamic Architectural Millwork shop. Our clients trust us to create high-end projects, and our staff are a big part of that. We're seeking a self-motivated Junior who is a quick learner with a positive attitude. We have state of the art equipment that you will use to contribute to our stunning millwork projects. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Follow instructions from Supervisor (or Journeyperson)
  • Follow shop policies and procedures
  • Operating CNC machines
  • Labeling & organizing of parts
  • Edge banding
  • Maintaining CNC & other shop equipment
  • Drawer Box Assembly
  • Assisting in finishing Department
  • Cleaning up after yourself
  • Ideally possess a valid BC driver’s licence

  • Architectural Millwork _ is a creative process primarily involving the design, fabrication and installation of beautiful WOOD _ pieces. Architectural woodworkers create beautiful designs using intricate cuts. An experienced woodworker has a deep knowledge of different design practices, techniques, and cuts, and will use a range of manual and powered tools to create attractive, custom, or semi-custom made woodwork pieces using architectural shop drawings.

Salary : $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
