Assistant Manager
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of all sales floor staff, including scheduling, coaching, and communication
- Help train and maintain sales floor service by training new employees
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety standards in the premise
- Maintain accurate records of staff productivity, hours, etc.
- Maintain inventory and ordering retail products
- Help meet daily sales goals as well as keeping staff focus on product knowledge and suggestive selling
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and surrounding areas
- Assist in opening and closing the store
Experience/Education
- Any retail, management and/or pet experience would be a huge asset but not necessary.
- Our main requirement is an upbeat, bubbly and motivated individual with a passion for animals and customer service
- Working full time is a must
- Being available on weekdays, weekends, as well as both days and evenings is a must
