  • You will then develop recommendations for the implementation of lessons learned for established processes.
  • You will collect intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential cyber defense incidents within the enterprise and perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting as well as monitor external data sources (e.g., cyber defense vendor sites, computer emergency response teams, security focus) to maintain currency of cyber defense threat conditions and determine which security issues may have an impact on the enterprise.
  • Detect, analyze and track vulnerabilities or misconfigurations and support Stakeholders on mitigation plans.
  • Together with the team, you will define and maintain KPIs and continuously improve the service.

Required Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Incident Response and Digital Forensics combined with several years of working experience in Penetration testing, IT Security Operations, IT Forensics, Incident Response or as an IT Administrator.
  • Skills in using modern monitoring and response solutions like EDR, SIEM, Network Monitoring as well as native cloud security monitoring tools like GuardDuty or Defender for cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of modern operating systems (e.g. Windows, OS X and Linux) together with solid foundation in networking protocols and architectures and cloud solutions like azure and aws.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities: how to properly identify, triage, and remediate threats based on threat intelligence as well as on analysis of security events, log data and network traffic.
  • Knowledge of cyber attack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks).
  • Experience with a scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering is desirable
