Together we unite and inspire all Canadians to change the future of cancer.JOB OVERVIEWReporting to the Vice President of Engagement and Insights, the Specialist – Engagement and Insights will work on projects and initiatives that will contribute to the success of the overall Revenue Development team with a focus on work that benefits all of the fundraising departments such as new technology implementation, performance reporting, trend analysis, report creation, support during the budget and plan process and other projects as determined by the VP. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Supports special projects and other initiatives that support the Revenue Development team. Tasks: Works with multiple areas of CCS including the Digital Solutions and Technology teams, Mission teams, Marketing and Communications, etc. as the representative for the fundraising department on various projects to ensure the business needs are understood and properly prioritized. Tracks, updates and communicates the progress of the assigned projects and initiatives to the VP and other senior leaders as required. Assists all areas of fundraising to better utilize and adopt our current CRM (Salesforce) and its suite of products as it applies to them.Works with fundraising and support teams to identify and prioritize system enhancements.Provides support and training to the fundraising team on basic Salesforce functions, especially for new team members.Reviews fundraising dashboards and reports to ensure they meet the needs of the fundraising team and helps with improvements.Helps drive and support all areas of fundraising during the annual planning process. Attends meetings with the VP and takes notes and action items on projects.Assists with market and competitive research as required.Prepares reports and power point presentations for VP and EVP as required.Works with all areas of CCS to gather information for upcoming fundraising projects and reports as directed by the VP. Participates in other initiatives as required by the VP Engt. & InsightsActively contribute to our culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring that all staff feel represented and heard regardless of their gender, age, religion, ethnicity, and nationality or race. QUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years of related experienceDemonstrated ability of being able to work with complex projects/initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholdersStrong knowledge of systems, such as CRM (Salesforce), Tableau CRM, Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, etc. Strong presentation preparation skillsAbility to reflect and present recommendations based on dataExperience leading initiatives with little authority but to successIs a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and act independently Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly excelAbility to maintain confidentialitySuperior verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and maturity in dealings with a variety of constituents. Strong organizational skills, an aptitude for numbers and the ability to pay attention to details are necessary attributesExperience in dealing with high volume of work, tight deadlines and ability to deal with competing priorities Excellent problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Canadian Cancer Society policies and procedures is an assetAbility to speak French is an asset Flexibility to perform other job requirements as assigned WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:CCS offers meaningful opportunities to help make a difference in the lives of Canadians with cancer, their caregivers, families and communities.
