Melo LLP People Solutions is currently recruiting for a junior Associate Lawyer for our client that focuses on multiple areas of law, including corporate and commercial, wills and estates, tax planning, real estate and municipal. What are we looking for?
- All applicants must be licensed to practice law in Ontario and be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- New calls are welcome, however some experience in real estate and corporate law is preferred. Experience in wills/estates is an asset.
- Strong writing skills and ability to draft legal documents and letters.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
- Natural leader who displays sound judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capable networker with excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
