Junior Sales Representative - Netting Division

The Junior Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting the Senior Sales Representative in the Netting Division for North America. The Netting Division consists of selling the following products: Rackguard Netting, Truck Netting, Conveyor Netting, Barrier Netting, and Oil Pit Netting. These projects quoted vary and are based on the customer’ needs. The overall objective is to be able to provide a safe and viable solution for our customers.

Duties and responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Junior Sales Representative role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare quotes/proposal package for Netting opportunities alongside internal support teams (estimating, engineering, and fabrication teams).
  • Work with and support the Senior Sales Representative for Netting.
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Budgets outlined annually.
  • Ability to change, adapt, to client needs/priorities.
  • Identify and attend industry seminars/tradeshows/key strategic client meetings in both Canada and the USA.
  • Client meetings required (travel) within Canada and the USA.
  • Work with Suppliers and Distributors to identify opportunities for improved profitability and market share gain.
  • Work hand in hand with marketing to further develop brand, launch new products, capitalize on rank, and continue to differentiate our products in the market.
  • Develop and manage strategic sales plans that align with the organization’s targets/directives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing, sales, or another relevant field
  • Knowledge of the Netting industry preferred
  • Ability to read technical specifications/drawings/RFQ’s
  • Understanding and experience with CRM, Office suite of products
  • Bilingualism an asset
  • 5+ years sales and business development experience

Working conditions

  • Work from home office other than travel, LGOC meeting and training/onboarding
  • Frequent use of computer and office equipment
  • 15% Travel
  • PPE may be required for site visits
  • Conversing with customers often
  • Entertaining customers

Physical requirements

Physical requirements of this role include:

  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain - potential construction sites, industrial sites
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean abstract
  • Valid passport

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $55.00-$70.00 per hour
