Some of what you will do : Responsible for printing, sorting & preparing the Customer orders for picking at the Fulfillment Center. Entering information into the various systems to enable reporting of Missing/Wrong, Productivity and invoicing.
Specifically, you will :
- Release orders to print based on cut off times & volume
- Scanning all the orders (carton id’s) in the system each day
- Sort the pick documents by delivery hub and place for dispatch
- Dispatch picking documents and updating systems
- Ensure that all the invoices are printed properly
- Perform research to determine/resolve Customers issues
- Communicate departmental issues daily with department Supervisor & Lead hand
- Ensure printers are cleaned an operating properly each day
- Monitor printer supplies and request additional (ribbons, labels etc.) as needed
- Other, as assigned/required
Additional Requirements Information :
- While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly sit, stand, walk
- Requires physical effort associated with using the computer or hand-held scanner to enter information.
- Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.
- Employee may lift, lower, carry product up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
Qualifications: Some of what you need :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (6) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
- Ability to become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment
- Need to have good math, reading, and writing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Must be dependable and demonstrate the ability to follow directions
- Ability to make independent decisions within well-defined guidelines
- Must be a team player
- Data entry skills
- Ability to work under pressure
