About the Opportunity : Reporting to the Manager of Logistics for the Northern Zone, the Stores Clerk is responsible for the distribution and replenishment of supplies in support of health care throughout the Nova Scotia Health authority.

About You : We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • High school graduation or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service Principles and Practice experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and working experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook required.
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in an automated Materials Management Service Inventory Control / Supply Preferred
  • Distribution environment required; within Healthcare Sector -SAP preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a diverse group of technical, professional and other staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently as required.
  • Medical product knowledge an asset.
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate an asset.
  • Education in Fundamentals of Inventory Warehousing and Lean Methodology considered an asset.
  • Competencies in other languages preferred; French an asset

Hours :

  • Long assignment, full-time position, 70 hrs bi-weekly
  • Beginning as soon as possible with an expected end date of April 22, 2023 (Approximately 6 months) Compensation and Incentives : $19.20 - $21.25 hourly
