We are searching for a tenacious  Bookkeeper  to join a team of legal professionals in  Victoria, British Columbia . Our client, is looking for a talented accountant to join their established and trusted team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and enhancing existing accounting processes. Bookkeeper responsibilities: General accounting and bookkeeping functions Accounts Receivable / Payables and Reconciliations Handling bank and credit card transactions on a weekly basis and proves expense reports Setting up supplier payments and invoices on a weekly or by-weekly account. Bank reconciliations Other duties as deemed necessary based upon business and/or department needs The successful candidate has: 5+ years of experience as full-cycle bookkeeper/accountant CA or legal background is an asset HR component an asset Knowledge of Quick Books Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and organize Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), databases and accounting software, and aptitude to learn new programs Ability to build relationships  Compensation and benefits: The salary range is $75,000-$100,000 dependent on experience Comprehensive benefits package Paid vacation Inhouse incentives and perks Please note this a fully in office position Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
